Online Move-Ins allow tenants to reserve and complete their move-in entirely within the Storable Marketplace. It’s fast, intuitive, and built to convert renters. This feature is available if your Marketplace listing is integrated with Sitelink by Storable or Storable Edge.
Online Move-Ins provide your tenants with a simple, step-by-step reservation and move-in flow that lets them select insurance, enter their driver's license and vehicle information (if required), accept the terms, sign the lease, and pay securely.
Customer Experience
When you opt into Marketplace Online Move-Ins, customers will see an E-Rental banner on your listing in search results on SpareFoot.com and Selfstorage.com.
1. After selecting a unit from your facility page, the customer will enter their contact information, move-in date, and click Complete Reservation. |

Once the customer completes the reservation, they will receive a reservation confirmation email. If they do not complete the online move-in right away, they can access the Online Move-In flow from the email.

2. The customer will click Rent Online to Skip the Line from the confirmation page. |

3. The customer will start the move-in process by entering the minimum required details for payments and communication, such as insurance coverage, mailing address, driver's license, and billing information. |

4. On the Details page, they will enter vehicle storage information, an additional contact, and lienholder details if relevant. |

5. The customer will see a summary of their rental and can click Sign Lease & Save Time Later to review and sign their lease. |

7. After signing the lease, the customer will see their access code or a message asking them to speak to the facility for the access code, depending on your software settings. |
How do I opt in or opt out of Online Move-Ins?
Important: Before you can offer online move-ins through the Marketplace, you must first enable Online Move-Ins in your software. Check out our articles on enabling online move-ins in Sitelink or Storable Edge.
Follow the steps below to change your Online Move-In settings.
1. Log in to your MySpareFoot account and navigate to the Move-Ins page. |

2. Select the Online Move-Ins tab. |

3. Use the checkboxes to select or unselect facilities. If the box is checked for a facility, it will be opted into Online Move-Ins. 4. Click Update Facilities when you are done making changes. |
Please ensure that your Admin fee is correctly entered in the Details section of MySpareFoot so that the fee shown to customers matches the fee in your software.
